Youth Racing
Wyoming Downs proudly partners with the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) to host an annual Youth Racing Experience, giving teens and young adults a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Quarter Horse racing.
Participants work directly with trainers, learn about race day operations, and connect with racing officials – all while gaining hands-on experience that fosters a deeper appreciation for the sport.
This immersive program helps build meaningful connections and valuable skills that can lead to scholarship opportunities and national recognition. It’s an incredible way to inspire and equip the next generation of industry leaders.

Applicants must be at least 15 to 18 years of age to be eligible for AQHYA Youth Racing Challenge. Also offering events to College Students ages 19 to 23. Limited positions available.
